Sometimes a commission comes along that is a complete delight to do, and this was one. The customer provided the words which come from a book published in 1864 (no copyright issues) and are a delightful description of a busy hive. The words sort of fell into a good layout, and the colours and decoration (pastel through a stencil I cut) all worked out well. I'm so pleased with it that I have had a limited run of prints made for sale. (It turns out that bee keeping is a hobby growing in popularity so there might be a few potential customers out there!)
The prints are 64cm x 24cm and are £17.50 each including UK p&p - do please contact me if you'd like one!
