Did you wonder where I'd gone, as it had all gone quiet? Jane and I took Mosaic Fairs, our exciting collection of desirable crafts from a variety of artists, to Chatsworth Christmas Market over the weekend.
Goodness me it was busy - there were tales of people queuing for an hour to get into the car park once they were on the Chatsworth estate!
The event was great - really friendly with many tempting stalls of gifts and foods. I particularly enjoyed my ostrich burger.
After 3 days at Chatsworth, I unloaded the car into my studio and it looked like a craft bomb had exploded - I think I'm only just going to clear the rubble in time to set off again for the coming weekend!
The personalised Christmas baubles I showed you in a previous post were a hit. And despite my efforts to try and have the most popular names written out, I think I only sold 2 that were pre-written - all the rest were written at the event. Still - at least people knoe for sure they're getting hand mande items, because they saw it being done!
Jane's textiles (www.nosey-parker-seats.co.uk) proved very popular - she has a busy week making more beautiful canvases and cushions.
