The last weekend of November was wet-wet-wet. The BBC and Sky were advising people not to travel if it could be avoided. And I was doing a craft fair at a place called WATERperry. Great.
In fact although the area was very flooded, many lovely people did make it to the event, and the weekend flew by in a whirl of pleasant conversations.
Waterperry is well known for hosting Art in Action in the summer - the Christmas event is tiny by comparison, but was very successful and it would be good to think it will grow each year.
I met a couple who wanted a poem writing out - they've been pondering having it done for 15 years, and took my business card - I've not heard from them yet, but I'm guessing they're not the rushing sort!
