I've been really enjoying reading other blogs that diligently review 2012, and set out goals for 2013.... but shirking doing either of those things myself!
Actually that's not totally true, but I'm approaching both in a haphazard way not suitable for sharing with my blog readers.
One of the things that has surprised me in 2013 is the burst of new people signing up for online calligraphy learning - I'm really delighted, but surprised as I'd turned off all the advertising other than its presence on my site (partly feeling a little despondent that no-one ever finishes a course). So my new recruits are getting 1st class service (as everyone has), but I'll also ask people for feedback so that I can work out if there's something in particular that causes people to fade away.
And an active plan for 2013 is to improve some of my photographs. Now I have a shiny iMac I am less than satisfied with some of the photos - luckily my husband has just treated himself to a super-fancy new camera, so I think he'll be up for helping me out!
That's more than enough intraspection for now. Here's a picture of my lovely fish (and tank) I got for Christmas!
