Had a lovely call this week from a new customer who wanted some certificates writing - he wasn't worried about seeing samples etc- - was just confident I'd be able to deliver what he needed. That's a very nice reaction from a customer, and of course makes me want to do my absolute best!!
It's a nervous moment when the certificates arrive, because it's the first chance you get to see what the paper's like. Shiny paper is tricky, not only because it's harder to write in, but you have to be very wary when ruling lines, as rubbing out can remove the paper surface too, which then looks terrible. Absorbent paper would be less likely but would also have its issues.
These certificates have a silk surface which is very pleasant to write on, and there were already lines on there for writing the details - so that was one less thing to worry about. The info on what was needed was included and was super-clear (really not always the case) plus a note which finished "PS Use some nice colours for the text ;0)"
Sometimes it's hard to get a sense of what a person has done to earn a certificate but these were easy - they were for a Lands End to John o'Groats cycle ride - crazy people all cycled 1000 miles - wonderful!
I suppose you'd like to see them now....?!! Here you go....
